With over 20+ years of professional writing experience, Anju has been published in leading publications in Hong Kong, India, Singapore and the US. She has worked under the guidance of New York Times Bestselling Authors: Haywood Smith and Beverly Jenkins and USA Today Bestselling author Jade Lee. She even has literary agents as mentors and friends. Anju will talk about her writing journey, the diversity of her stories and characters and why she chose to pursue the traditional side of publishing in an ever-growing self-publishing market.

She was first published at the age of seven in Hong Kong’s leading English language newspaper – think ‘Bend It Like Beckham’ but writing instead of the soccer! Anju has also lived and been published in India, Australia, Singapore and USA in a variety of genres from fiction, feature, travel and news, to cover stories, interviews and perspective pieces. Her debut novel, Duty and Desire, A Tale of Modern India was published in 2011. Anju is represented by Bob Diforio at D4EO Literary Agency and writes fiction to Bridge Cultures and Break Barriers. She is currently at work on her third novel.
