__YES, I will judge the Unpublished Maggies in the ____________________________ category. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We
need your help! Please
volunteer to judge the Unpublished Maggie Awards Again this year, entrants in
the unpublished division will send a maximum of 35 pages (including synopsis),
and judges will give each manuscript a score from 1 to 10 AND a ranking to be
used only to break ties when determining finalists. We will accept a maximum of
70 entries per category. Judges will critique directly on the manuscript and
type or write comments on a separate sheet of paper. Each judge will receive no
more than eight entries from one of the six romance categories: short contemporary,
long contemporary, historical (including Regencies), paranormal/fantasy, contemporary
single title, and inspirational. If you would like to be a
judge, please contact Emily Sewell (esewell@mindspring.com) as soon as
possible. Indicate which category you would prefer to judge. The manuscripts
will be sent to judges in early June and must be returned to the category
coordinator by July 26, 2008. |
