Thanks for stopping by the Georgia Romance Writers website. We’re glad you’re interested in our Moonlight & Magnolias Conference, and we’re excited about all the new programs.
If you’re on this page, you’re checking out the great line up of editors and agents. In addition, we have a Pitch Workshop planned for Friday morning, which focuses on helping you groom your pitch in front of a published author before your “real pitch” to an editor or agent. This is a limited offer for the first 100 to sign up for our Friday morning hands-on Pitch Workshop. We want you to be ready for your big appointment. Details at Pitch Workshop.
In addition, The Cold Read Sessions are 2 1-hour sessions where a panel of editors and agents read aloud, anonymous, previously submitted pages from attendees, and offer immediate critiques. These pages may consist of a single-spaced 1-page query letter, or a 1-2 page synopsis, double-spaced, or up to the first 2 pages of a manuscript, double-spaced. This is a fabulous opportunity to get an editor or agent's immediate impression of your work and the work of others - a valuable learning experience any way you look at it. Once you’ve registered for the conference, you will receive an email with a link where you can sign up for an appointment. Editor and Agent choices are determined by registration number so the earlier you sign up, the better your chance for getting a first choice.
