November 18 – Sally Kilpatrick

Fake It Until You Make It: B.S. Your Way to Plot and Conflict

Every writer has a weakness, and the first step in overcoming that weakness is to acknowledge it. Some have trouble plotting. Sally avoids conflict. Learn the strategies some writers employ to overcome their natural weaknesses in order to create compelling stories. Hint: having a snarky critique partner helps.

Sally Kilpatrick has a B.A. in b.s. from the University of Tennessee, and an M.A. in advanced b.s. from Kennesaw State University. She writes southern fiction (with romantic elements, of course!) for Kensington and lives in Marietta with her husband, two kids, and two cats.
