May 20 – Bryonna Nobles

Story Architect – World Building For Every Genre
World Building can be a tricky business whether you’re writing contemporary or fantasy or somewhere in between. It can often go neglected or half-done. This can leave the reader feeling less than convinced of your story and, worst, not completely immersed in it.
Bryonna Nobles will take you through her process of building fantastic worlds for her characters to play in. She draws inspiration from mythology, fairy tales, television series, and over a decade of play-by-post role playing.
She hopes by sharing her method, you might gain a few more tools for your Writer Kit.
Bryonna Nobles is a self-proclaimed Geek whose been playing play-by-post role-playing games since she got her first computer at sixteen. Mainly Sailor Moon and Harry Potter, if you were wondering.
She has a learning disability in reading and writing so, of course, she decided to become a writer. And her favorite genre? Paranormal Romance.
She loves creating characters that people admire but also rich worlds that they want to play in. That they want to return to again and again as some of her favorite authors have done.
While not yet published, she has finaled in many contests, including the Unpublished Maggie Awards for Excellence, and even won a few. And one thing most of the judges and her critique partner seem to agree one:  She gives good world. 😉
You can follow her on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Or just hunt her down at Moonlight & Magnolias. As Director of Conference, she’s sure to be running around making sure things are going smoothly.
